I am a resident of Pahrump, Nevada and my practice is located in Pahrump, Nevada. I attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Nevada, Reno. I entered the counseling profession in 1993 and have worked in a variety of areas over the years. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and have worked as a supervisor of mental health and substance abuse services in addition to being a service provider.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish as well as a graduate degree in counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy. After graduate school I completed approximately three years of supervised internship before being allowed to successfully complete exams that allowed me to become a licensed therapist.
I am required to participate in annual continuing education in order to maintain my licensure as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Aside from continuing education I do my best to keep up on the latest research in order to provide the best services possible.
